Join Us for our First Public Event!
We would like to invite you to our inaugural event, Speaking Up: Asian Voices for Birth Equity, happening May 3 at 10 AM in Oakland! This first-of-its-kind gathering will bring our community together to share birth stories, explore birth equity, and discuss the impact of racism on the Asian diaspora.

With incredible guest panelists and meaningful community engagement, this is a conversation we need to have—one that centers our experiences, our voices, and our collective vision for change. There's no better time than now to have this much-needed conversation.
Our guest speakers include:
-
Deepa Philips (Certified Nurse Midwife)
-
Dr. Hazel Benigno (Licensed Clinical Psychologist)
-
Anjali Sardeshmukh (Community midwife)
-
Amulya Aradhyula (Researcher & birthworker)
-
Cherie Seah Flood (ABC Co-Founder & birthworker)
All are welcome! Whether you are a birthworker, provider, doula, caregiver, parent or parent-to-be, you are welcome. Let’s come together, listen, learn, and uplift each other. Food and beverages will be provided (of course!).
Register for the event here.
